The O.P.A. Annual Ceramic Showcase – in conjunction with the Gathering of the Guilds – returns to the Oregon Convention Centerfor the 43rd year. This 3-day event is held inside the Oregon Convention center and features over 200 local ceramic artists affiliated with the Oregon Potters Association (a registered 501-C3 Non-Profit Organization), as well as dozens of artisan crafters from several guilds.

During the Ceramic Showcase, browse a vastly diverse array of original and creative clay art made by local crafters passionate about pottery. All items from Ceramic Showcase are available for purchase through cashless central casheiers, and make lovely gifts.

This annual ceramic event hosts 10+ scheduled demos by professional potters, provides a hands on clay area for atendees to try their hand at working with clay, grants highschool scholarships and event awards, and showcases the OPAs fundraising and comunity building efforts, plus so much more!

Oh and I should mention there are prizes from each of the guilds! This is a community event you won’t want to miss.

The First Thursday Street Gallery is April to October, on the first Thursday of each month. City blocks are closed off in NW Portland on 13th street between Hoyt and Kearney.

The event is from 5 p.m. To 9 p.m. The Street Gallery showcases original, hand crafted work by local area artists and makers.

Urban Art Network is a registered 501-C3 Non-profit Organization dedicated to creating opportunities for self-representing local artists. They support direct exchange between artists, patrons, and the community.

For the past 24 years, they have been running the First Thursday Street Gallery, a beloved community event. The organization is entirely volunteer-run by artists, for artists.
