The body of this mug was wheel thrown with a white-colored clay, and the handle was hand-pulled and fixed to the trimmed piece. Once bisque fired, the piece was coated in a thick layer of Georgie’s “Tidal Pool” cone 6 glaze, leaving the piece with a beautiful glossy blue colored finish with speckles and purple tones throughout the surface. This piece also boasts a medium-brown break-line along the rim and handle. The width measurement listed below includes the width of the handle; the opening of the mug measures 3 inches wide.

**PLEASE NOTE: this piece had a small bubble develop on the glaze surface during the glaze firing, you’ll see it in the photos on the exterior near the lip of the piece. Any left handed use may cause the bubble to brush against the users lip and could potentially cause a cut. I recommend this mug for right handed use to avoid the bubble on the lips. I also advise diligence when washing, as bacteria can get caught in the small hole and be very difficult to clean.

Thrown with thin walls, this mug is sure to make a useful addition to your daily routine.

Handle with care. All pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe, but you may want to wash it by hand.

For your safety, this glaze is certified as food-grade and non-toxic.

The body of this mug was wheel thrown with a red-colored clay, and the handle was hand-pulled and fixed to the trimmed piece. Once bisque fired, the piece was coated in a thick layer of Georgie’s “Tidal Pool” cone 6 glaze, leaving the piece with a beautiful glossy green-ish blue colored finish with larger dark blue speckles throughout the surface. This piece also boasts a medium-brown break-line along the rim. The width measurement listed below includes the width of the handle; the opening of the mug measures 3.25 inches wide.

**PLEASE NOTE: this piece had some bubbles develop on the glaze surface in the glaze firing, and because there are a few bubbles that popped on the interior of the mug wall, I recommend this pot be used for decorative purposes, as bacteria can get caught in those small holes and be very difficult to clean.
