Combining a blend of white, black, red, tan, and orange clay bodies, each color contributes to a stunning unique marbled pattern achieved by throwing the various clay bodies simultaneously on the potter’s wheel.
The interior of the bowl is finished with a food-safe, non-toxic clear glossy glaze that ensures functionality and durability while accentuating the marbled design and altering the brighter colors to be more muted and earth-toned. The unglazed exterior showcases the unaltered clays’ vibrant colors and slightly-rough texture.
