This vase was wheel thrown with a white-colored clay body and was coated in a thick layer of Georgie’s “Blizzard Blue” cone 6 glaze, leaving the piece with a lovely light blue glossy finish, and a clear break-line around the rim.
Thrown with thin walls, this vase is sure to make a useful addition to your home or office.
Handle with care. All pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe, but you may want to wash it by hand.

The process of throwing on the wheel naturally created the multi-colored spiral effect seen on the piece. Once bisque fired, the piece was coated in a thick layer of Georgies’ “No More Tears” clear glaze, which muted the black and red hues to look more earth toned. The unglazed clay at the base of the piece show off the original colors of the clay.
