Once bisque fired, the piece was coated in a thick layer of Georgie’s “Tidal Pool” cone 6 glaze, leaving the piece with a beautiful blue and purple toned smooth and glossy finish throughout the surface. This piece also boasts a medium-brown break-line along the rim.
Thrown with thin walls, this mug is sure to make a useful addition to your daily routine.

$48.00Read moreThis 12oz cup was built from a flat slab, which was imprinted with tall grass harvested near the studio while the slab was still flat.
Once the slab was formed into a cylinder and bisque fired, black under glaze was hand painted into the crevasses left behind by the plant. The piece was then dipped into a clear glaze, leaving a creme colored glossy glaze finish over a majority of the piece.
The glaze is just see through enough to make out the texture from the cloth used in the slab rolling process.
Built from a slab on the thinner side, this unique drinking vessel is sure to be a conversation piece!
