This cup was wheel thrown with a red-colored clay body and was coated in a thick layer of Georgie’s “Tidal Pool” cone 6 glaze leaving the piece with a beautiful glossy green-ish blue colored glaze finish with larger dark blue speckles throughout the surface..
Thrown with thin walls, this cup is sure to make a useful addition to your home or office.

Underneath the glaze at the bottom on the outside is a solid line of black under glaze, which under Georgie’s “Buckwheat” cone 6 glaze forms different hues of light and dark blues.
The glaze forms a crisp light brown break line at the bottom of the glaze line, as well as a less intense light brown break line around the lip.
