This wheel thrown 3oz tea cup was thrown with a light colored stoneware and glazed with Georgie’s “Buckwheat” cone 6 glaze, leaving the piece with a soft sandy finish.
Light weight and thrown on the thin side, this drinking vessel will make a lovely addition to your tea cup collection.
Alternatively, this piece could be used for condiments or sauces!

$53.00Read moreThis marbled cup was thrown with 4 different clay bodies that were slightly wedged together, each clay boasting an individual color; black, red, white, and off-white. The process of throwing on the wheel naturally created the multi-colored spiral effect seen on the piece. Once bisque fired, the piece was coated in a thick layer of Georgies’ “No More Tears” clear glaze, which muted the black and red hues to look more earth toned. The unglazed clay at the base of the piece show off the original colors of the clay.
Thrown with thin walls, this cup is sure to make a useful addition to your daily routine.

$42.00Read moreThis 9oz cup was built from a flat slab, which was imprinted with 2 leafs from a Japanese maple tree harvested near the studio while the slab was still flat.
Once the slab was formed into a cylinder and bisque fired, green under glaze was hand painted into the crevasses left behind by the plant. The piece was then dipped into a clear glaze, leaving a creme colored glossy glaze finish over a majority of the piece.
The glaze is just see through enough to make out the texture from the cloth used in the slab rolling process.
Built from a slab on the thinner side, this unique drinking vessel is sure to be a conversation piece!

$38.00Read moreThis small wheel thrown 6oz cup is glazed with Georgie’s Buckwheat cone 6 glaze to form an off-white slightly speckled finish. Underneath the glaze at the bottom on the outside is a solid line of black under glaze, which under Georgie’s “Buckwheat” cone 6 glaze forms different hues of light and dark blues.
The glaze forms a crisp light brown break line at the bottom of the glaze line, as well as a less intense light brown break line around the lip.
