This marbled vase was thrown with 4 different clay bodies that were slightly wedged together, each clay boasting an individual color; black, red, white, and off-white. The process of throwing on the wheel naturally created the multi-colored spiral effect seen on the piece. Once bisque fired, the piece was coated in a thick layer of Georgies’ “No More Tears” clear glaze, which muted the black and red hues to look more earth toned. The unglazed clay at the base of the piece show off the original colors of the clay.
Thrown with thin walls, this vase is sure to make a useful addition to your home or office.

The white porcelain clay is coated in a cone 6 clear glaze, and boasts a small opaque teal spot on one lower side. This occurred due to a unique chemical exposure from a nearby piece during the in kiln firing.

This 2oz tea cup was wheel thrown with porcelain clay and hand painted with Georgie’s “Emerald Wood Ash” cone 6 glaze, leaving the piece with a mostly light brown matte glaze finish, with small patches of light teal on the interior where glaze was brushed on inconsistently.
Light weight and thrown on the thin side, this drinking vessel will make a lovely addition to your tea cup collection.
Alternatively, this piece could be used for condiments or sauces!
