Mikalah was a delight to work with;
I was looking for something of the larger bowl variety for ramen and found a similar piece to this one, but upon discovering I really enjoyed the unglazed red base on some of her pieces Mikalah pulled out some of her unposted pieces for me to look through and I fell in love. It was both larger and more in line with what I was looking for. (Other than size the only difference was the clay used) The customer service is phenomenal. It was exactly what I wanted~
The piece is a mix of light and dark blue with even darker splotches with a reddish/brown rim that tapers inwards (great for preventing drips and splattering from soups and noodles) along with the dark red unglazed bottom. The walls are thin (but not in a way that makes me think it’ll crack) and the base is sturdy. It works great as an all around bowl but I mostly bought it for noodles and it works great.
20/10 for the excellent service and quality of the piece itself.
