Thrown on the pottery wheel, the bowl was then altered to host a set of chopsticks and provide channel to easily pour out of. Its sturdy-yet-thin walls and heavyweight base make it easy to handle, yet sturdy enough for everyday use.
The interior is glazed with a matte almost yellow glaze that is almost iridescent or subtly sparkly in certain light. The exterior is finished with various layers of a glossy, transparent tie-die blue glaze. Both glazes are food-safe and non-toxic, ensuring the piece remains functionally safe as well as durable.
