Indulge in the beauty of this 3-clay marbled medium ceramic bowl, a stunning blend of artistry and functionality.

This marbled bowl was thrown with 4 different clay bodies that were slightly wedged together, each clay boasting an individual color; black, red, white, and off-white. The process of throwing on the wheel naturally created the multi-colored spiral effect seen on the piece. Once bisque fired, the piece was coated in a thick layer of Georgies’ “No More Tears” clear glaze, which muted the black and red hues to look more earth toned. The unglazed clay at the base of the piece show off the original colors of the clay.

Thrown with thin walls, this bowl is sure to make a useful addition to your daily routine.

This set of bubble bowls was thrown with a white clay body and trimmed on the wheel. Once bisque fired, the pieces were decorated by blowing teal bubbles onto the both the interior and exterior surface of the bowls using a mix of under-glaze, soap, and water. After the bubbles naturally pop, dried rings of colorant remain where the bubbles met, dried, and popped on the stoneware surfaces. Once dry, the pieces were then glazed with Georgies’ “No More Tears” clear cone 6 glaze and fired for a final time.

The measurements listed below indicate the width and height of the set of bowls when stacked; the bottom bowl is not quite 2.25 inches tall and is 5 inches wide; the top bowl is a bit over 2.75 inches tall and is 4.25 inches wide.

This small bowl and plate set was wheel thrown out of a light colored stoneware, and hand painted with  Georgie’s “Emerald Wood Ash” cone 6 glaze, leaving the pieces with a very light teal, thin matte finish with small unique patches of light brown coming through where the glaze was brushed on inconsistently.

Light weight and thrown thin, this bowl would be put to good use as a shallow dish to hold small objects like rings or spare keys among other things.
